ImageSizer – feedback screen fail. :-/

This is a ‘public service announcement’.  Basically, the ImageSizer feedback screen hasn’t always been working.  If you’ve used it already to send your feedback, there’s a good chance that the message wasn’t delivered, regardless of the confirmation screen you may have seen.  

It’s all fixed now, but if you’ve sent feedback or have a burning comment to make then please, send it again. (And sorry for the trouble.)

AIR Team t-shirt

A bit irrelivant I know, but I thought I’d post anyways as it’s just arrived; 

I got a free t-shirt from Adobe (yay me!). As it turns out, Shikha Bhargava – product manager for the AIR Marketplace – posted this article on the Adobe Developer Center at its relaunch. ImageSizer obviously sneaked in there as one of the first 10 new applications to be added, so I got a free t-shirt.  (As well as a free Digital certificate!)

Some of you may have heard of this – I think it was mentioned in the latest edition of Flasher Magazine when Lee interviews Doug McCune.

The video alone is really well put together, let alone the actual application!

This site has loads of little ActionScript snippets. There’s some cool stuff in there – click on ‘All Posts’ and you’ll see a list of them.
It’s got things like dragging and snapping to a grid, random sort, variable swap, etc etc.

Squiddler has done some really cool stuff on the Flash platform, most of his blog posts are worth reading but check out these ones specifically:

This AIR application is pretty cool – it allows you to take excel files and transform them into xml files by providing a simple template. Could be useful in those instances where we get the client to fill out a spreadsheet of information.
