Psyked*
it’s easy once you know how.More cool portfolios…
Posted by James - 30/06/07 at 09:06:10 amI can’t remember exactly how I happened across this site, but [Self Titled] by John Iacoviello is an awesome example of a flash site. Really cool. It’s kinda like Craig Akehursts’, one of this years crop of graduates from the University of Gloucestershire, but I suspect that John Iacoviello has had his website up a little longer.

GeekWithLaptop
Posted by James - 02/06/07 at 10:06:39 amI’m always pleased when I stumble across a website that inspires me, and today I stumbled across geekwithlaptop. The articles are nice, loosely related to what I’d normally read, but the main inspiration was the design. It’s very bright & clean, although it’s not the kind of stuff I’d steal and add into my own designs. The main element I like is the clarity of the navigation, the funky icons, and the options for RSS. Yes, options. One for plain RSS, and one for Feedburner RSS. - That’s a concept I can steal without going back on my words…

Tom Stockley
Posted by James - 28/05/07 at 12:05:50 pmTom Stockley was one half of the duo responsible for the branding of the 2006 Pittville Degree Show (Shine!) for which I created the website, following their theme. He studied BA (Hons) Graphic Design, and now seems to be working for a company called Genie.

Pav’s Portfolio
Posted by James - 22/05/07 at 08:05:56 pmPav (Pawanjot Multani) has got her portfolio set up with www.finalcrit.com. You can access it through this link. We’ve been fond of Pav’s illustration style for a while, and its nice to see it online in a snazzy format. Last I heard she was working part-time with Maverick TV and as a Researcher for somethingorother.

BigKid London
Posted by James - 20/05/07 at 05:05:44 pmwww.bigkidlondon.com is where Gary Brown is now working. He’s from Uni too. He’s reportedly loving it, and specialises as their flash guy. Been with them 3 months now, so I hear. Used to have his own portfolio site, but that’s now offline until further notice.

David-Jenkins.co.uk
Posted by James - 20/05/07 at 05:05:26 pmDavid Jenkins was on my Interactive Media Design course at Uni. He specialises in websites (as opposed to me specialising in Flash) and also has a passion for 3D Modelling. His website hasn’t been updated for a while, and I haven’t spoken to him for ages now, so I’m not even sure what he’s up too!
